Bargains at the WHU auction.
You can have your very own second-hand perspex West Ham thingy for just £600.

Not sure what the negativity is all about.

If we raise enough it could cover Andy Carrolls wages for a day or two?

Considering the overinflated prices I think it is a piss take that the club have placed a reserve price on some items.
What has happened to supply and demand and letting the market set the price? Seems it only works one way.

Would be nice if the club announced the total raised following the closure of the auctions.

I'd be interested anyway.

I would imagine that a lot of people wanting to buy a piece of memorabilia don't have the space for a dozen of the same chairs? Also you are comparing auctions about to end with ones that have 5 hours to run. If you've ever bid on anything then you will know that most people don't bid something until towards the end of the allotted time.

Re: Bargains at the WHU auction.
there are some ridiculous bids on there. People are bidding £225 for a single claret upholstered chair when you can currently also bid £130 for a set of 12 of the same upholstered chairs.

Just seen the 16% buyers fee + 20% VAT on the combined winning bid & 16% buyers fee. So £100 winning bid would incur £39.20 in fees. Is a 39.2% mark up normal for online auctions?

Should be easy to knock up a duplicate of that. I will put it on eBay for 'only' £100 later.
